Set up online payments (GCash, Maya, cards and bank transfer)

Let clients pay invoices from a secure link: bank transfer on every plan, and GCash, Maya and cards through your own PayMongo or Xendit account.

Updated Nov 1, 2026

With online payments on, every issued, unpaid invoice gets a secure pay link. Your client opens it (no login needed) and pays. The money goes straight to your bank, PayMongo or Xendit account. GodoERP never holds it; it records the payment in your books.

It is off until you turn it on. When it is off, invoices work exactly as before.

1. Turn it on

  1. Go to Settings › Online payments.
  2. Tick Turn on online payments.
  3. Keep Big "Pay now" button in the invoice email ticked (or untick it for a plain link).
  4. Keep Email the client a payment confirmation (PDF) ticked if you want clients to get a confirmation after they pay.

2. Bank transfer (every plan)

  1. Tick Show bank transfer on the pay page.
  2. Add up to 3 accounts: bank or e-wallet name, account name, account or mobile number, and an optional note.
  3. Keep Let clients send proof of payment ticked so clients can upload their receipt from the pay page.
  4. Add extra instructions if you like (for example where to send questions).

Bank transfers are never marked paid automatically. You check your bank, then confirm the proof.

3. GCash, Maya and cards (Business plan)

You need your own PayMongo or Xendit account. Follow the step-by-step guide for yours:

In short: copy the secret key from your PayMongo or Xendit dashboard, choose the provider and paste it on Settings › Online payments, tick what clients can use (GCash, Maya, Visa / Mastercard, Online banking, QR Ph), and save with your authenticator code. GodoERP tests the key right away and shows Connected to PayMongo (or Xendit).

Start in test mode. Use the test key (sk_test_… for PayMongo, xnd_development_… for Xendit), pay a test invoice, and check it turns Paid. Then replace it with the live key.

The webhook records a payment even when the client closes the page before coming back. Copy the Webhook address from the settings page and add it in your provider's dashboard: Developer Tools › Webhooks in PayMongo (event checkout_session.payment.paid), or Settings › Webhooks › Invoice in Xendit. Then paste the secret key (PayMongo) or verification token (Xendit) back in GodoERP. The connect guides above show each step.

Every payment is also double-checked with PayMongo or Xendit before it is recorded, so a fake message can never mark an invoice paid.

Where the money goes in your books

  • A PayMongo clearing or Xendit clearing account is created under Banking on the first online payment. Payments land there.
  • The provider's fee is booked to Payment gateway fees (an expense).
  • When the provider pays out to your bank, record the payout.

Tip: Changing the provider, the secret key or the webhook secret always asks for your authenticator code, and every change is in the Activity Log.
