Record other revenue (income that isn't an invoice)
Book interest, rebates or one-off income straight into a bank account, and void it if needed.
Use Income › Other Revenue for money received that doesn't come from a customer invoice, such as bank interest or a supplier rebate. Customer sales belong on service invoices.
Add revenue
Other Revenue › New Revenue:
- Revenue Date (required).
- Bank account that received the money (required).
- Revenue account from your Chart of Accounts (required).
- Customer (optional) if it relates to one.
- Amount above zero, plus a Reference and Description.
Saving records the money in the chosen bank account and in the revenue account.
Void a mistake
Open the entry › Void and give a reason. GodoERP reverses the original journal entry instead of deleting it, so your audit trail stays complete.
Period closing
The date must be in an open period, for both adding and voiding.
Tip: Ask your accountant which revenue account fits, since it affects your tax reports.
