Form 1604-C year-end worksheet and BIR tax remittances
Reconcile twelve monthly 1601-C returns with your alphalist, and record each tax payment.
Record a tax payment
HR › BIR Tax Remittances records withholding tax you paid on compensation:
- Tax year and tax month it covers.
- Amount and date paid.
- Paid from: the bank or cash account.
- BIR reference no. and notes (both optional).
Save it. The list shows each month's amount, details and status, so you can see which months are paid. Void a payment you entered wrongly, giving a reason.
The 1604-C worksheet
HR › 1604-C Year-End Worksheet › choose the year. It reconciles your year in four parts:
- Findings: problems it noticed, with a level and where to fix them.
- Twelve monthly 1601-C returns: per month, employees, total compensation, non-taxable, taxable, tax withheld, arrears, annualization, tax due, remitted and balance.
- Alphalist totals vs the monthly returns: the difference between the twelve 1601-C returns and your alphalist or annualization.
- Per-employee reconciliation.
The worksheet is read-only and has PDF and CSV downloads. Fix anything flagged, then continue to Year-end tax annualization and the alphalist.
Important: Differences mean a month was not posted, an employee is missing, or a remittance wasn't recorded. Resolve them before you file. Confirm the final forms with your accountant.
