Employee self-service: clock in, breaks, requests, payslips and contracts
What your staff can do from their own login at /my.
Employees whose login is linked to their employee record use their own page at /my instead of the full HR menu.
Daily time
- Clock in and Clock out.
- Break out and Break in for meal or rest breaks.
These punches go to HR › Attendance, where HR can review them, and they feed payroll.
Requests
- Attendance requests: ask HR to correct a missed or wrong punch. HR approves or rejects it under HR › Attendance requests.
- Leave requests: file leave and watch the status move from Pending to Approved or Rejected. Staff can't approve their own.
What else they can see
- This month's attendance and holidays.
- Leave balances.
- Posted payslips, and the latest 13th month pay.
- Form 2316 list.
- Contracts you sent them, which they can accept and sign. See Employment contracts.
- Projects they're a member of.
- Their profile. It is view-only, so they can't edit details HR manages, such as address or TIN, because they appear on Form 2316.
Set it up
- Make sure the person has an employee record with an Employee #.
- Under Administration › Users, create their login and link it to that employee record. Without the link, the page won't open.
Note: Employees only ever see and act on their own records.
