Maintenance mode
Show a maintenance page to everyone except staff with the Settings permission.
Administration › Settings › Maintenance.
- Tick Maintenance mode.
- Write the message shown to visitors (up to 2,000 characters), for example "Back at 9 PM. We're closing the books for the month."
- Save.
While it is on, everyone except people with the Settings permission sees the maintenance page. You and other administrators can still sign in and work. Untick it and save to go live again.
When to use it
- Before a large import or a backup restore.
- While you correct opening balances.
- During a planned period close with your accountant.
Important: Turn it off when you finish. Staff can't use GodoERP while it is on.
