Rename screen wording with Custom Labels

Administration › Settings › Labels lets you change the wording on a screen without touching anything else.

1. Choose the page group on the left, for example Invoices, Bills, Customers, Vendors, Expenses, Reports, Items, Proposals, Chart of Accounts, Journal, Banking, Roles, User Management, Credit Notes, Debit Notes, Transfers or Revenue.
2. Edit the text next to the label you want to change.
3. Click Save.

Clear a box and save to go back to the default wording.

Good to know

• Labels change wording only. Calculations, reports and BIR forms stay the same.
• A group may say "No customizable wording registered for this page yet." That means nothing can be renamed there.
• Printed BIR forms and official report titles keep their official names.

Tip: Make one change at a time and check the screen. Short words work best, because long ones can wrap in tables.
