Set up your company and BIR details
Registered name, TIN, VAT or non-VAT status, percentage tax, 8% option and government employer IDs.
These details print on every invoice, report and BIR form, so set them first.
Where: Administration › Settings › Company Settings.
Company info
- Registered Company Name: exactly as on your Certificate of Registration (BIR Form 2303).
- Business Address, TIN, Business Style, Email and Phone.
- Proprietor Name (sole proprietors) and Authorized Representative / Cashier, the name printed on the invoice signature line.
VAT Registration Status
Choose VAT Registered or Non-VAT Registered. This controls whether invoices show VAT lines or the non-VAT format.
- VAT Registered: invoices compute 12% VAT, and you file the quarterly 2550Q.
- Non-VAT Registered: invoices show the non-VAT format. Most non-VAT businesses pay 3% percentage tax (2551Q).
Percentage tax and the 8% option
- VAT / Percentage Tax Status: leave it on Not exempt unless a tax professional confirmed you are exempt from both VAT and percentage tax.
- Percentage Tax Rate: 3% (NIRC Sec. 116). Older quarters from July 2020 to June 2023 are computed at 1% automatically.
- 8% Income Tax Option: choose Availed 8% if you are a non-VAT sole proprietor or professional who chose the 8% income tax. You then pay no percentage tax, so the 2551Q is turned off.
BIR Acknowledgment Certificate and invoice series
- BIR Acknowledgment Certificate No. and Date Issued: leave blank until the BIR issues your Acknowledgment Certificate.
- RDO Code: printed on BIR Form 2307 certificates.
- Approved Series Range From / To: the invoice number range approved for you, printed on every invoice.
Government employer IDs
SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG Employer ID, used on payroll reports such as SSS R-3.

Important: Change the VAT status only when your registration really changes (for example, you registered for VAT). Ask your accountant about the effective date. Invoices already issued are not changed.
